This has worked wonders for my shower drain. It fits snugly over the drain/PVC pipe and is the perfect length. I wrapped a microfiber cloth around the brush to reduce dirt splatter initially. (Keep a trash can and towel handy to wipe/brush off the brush and any debris around the drain.) Now that the pipe surface is clean, I plan to use the brush weekly to prevent buildup.

Should have searched longer. It was said to be almost 1 inch but they said in metric what should be 0.9 "suddenly" turned out to be 7/8". Nice well made brush but not big enough for mine work. I need to take a closer look at the measurements. Maybe they will now, good luck but I found a real 1". They kindly refunded my expenses and credited my account. Got it, I'm happy now.

This brush is great for cleaning continuous sewer lines under sinks. To do a thorough job you will need to remove at least some plumbing under the sink. Update September 6, 2020: I love this brush even more. She slowly cleaned the drain! One of the bathroom sinks was slowly dripping, so I unplugged it and used a crystal drain cleaner (you know, a hard drain cleaner). After flushing the drain with cold water the flow got a little better so I wanted to put the plug back on but I noticed the pipe inside looked disgusting. As it turns out, this brush also works on sink drains and picks up all sorts of nasty slime messes (was beyond gross). I…
