Viking Car Care 986017 Applicator Review

The perfect product for applying wax etc. They are very soft and will last for years if washed after each use. They will not scratch new gelcoats on vehicles. I personally prefer white cotton terry pads to blue ones. I've been using these pads for over 40 years.

This is exactly what they are advertised for. So far I've used them to wax the wood railings on my stairs. I would recommend getting some duct tape to remove lint before use. I machine washed them in a laundry bag due to their small size. They persevered. I didn't use a dryer and let them air dry instead. I recommend!

I really really wanted to like these as it was an easy tool to use to coat my stained items. I used hemp oil and this applicator pad and had a lot of lint from the pad in my fresh top coat. Luckily I used a lint free rag to wipe off any excess hemp oil and it cleaned some of the lint off the pad. Just be aware of how hard you press and saturate these pads when working on projects.

Used with "Daddy Van's All Natural Unscented Beeswax Furniture Polish". Shirts or socks for buffing - namely for buffing excess varnish that has remained on it for a while. Very easy to use and do the job well. They're just the right size, with soft padding so you can actually buff quite vigorously without hurting your fingers or furniture. I haven't washed them yet, but I think they're cushions that you buy once and then pass along with the furniture to the heirs. I plan to use a clean one…
