Vila Heavy Duty Pumping Variety Automotive Review

I bought this to pour water out of a rain barrel. It does its job but took a star off because it was a lot of work because you have to keep pumping and the hose fell off more than once.

Really easy to use. Amazing suction power once it works. Regularly clogged when emptying the aquarium; The screen would be a good product upgrade. But for the price, it performed a lot better than some of the more expensive pumps I've bought.

Pump works well. My only minor complaint would be that the hose is too stiff and "trained" to be rolled up. A more flexible hose would be better. And would make the device much better.

A few times a year, gallons of rain seeps onto the floor at one end of my basement. There's a small dead end I've scooped out by hand with a sponge and bucket in the past - it puts a strain on my back. Now I just dip the bottom end of this little pump into the sump and spin it. ON THE. It fills a bucket that I can take outside and pour out. The batteries are doing their job now, not my back!

This product is easy to assemble and works perfectly. I used it to pump fuel out of the waveguide tank to turn it into a premix. I was able to fill a five gallon container in about five minutes with this product. The piston assembly is well designed, works effortlessly and does not leak. There are many hoses that are not too thin or too stiff. As a bonus, nozzles for inflating balls, rafts, etc. are included. It would be nice if a storage bag was included.

I overfilled the water tank of the automatic water planter. Access to the reservoir is only possible through a narrow canal. After trying to sop up some water with a long rag, I realized I needed a better and quick solution. This pump arrived promptly (Lechuza would have taken a few weeks) and my beautiful Singapore Twist was saved from drowning. This is a unique use of the pump, but what might apply to your project is that it was quick and easy to use and had great suction.
