This was a nice bread bin, the right color and very deep. It just wasn't big enough for us so I had to send it back. I really wish it was about 6 inches longer but that was exactly the size he said. I just read it inattentively - it looked bigger in the photo than in real life. However, you can put at least 3 loaves of bread in it as it is very high/low.

After searching the internet, 3 purchases and returns, I finally found my bread box! I love the color and graphics, love that it has a bamboo cutting board/rail, love the vertical design (takes up less valuable counter space) and that it actually fits at least 2 full loaves of bread. This was one of the reasons I had to return the previous boxes I had purchased - they all described the fit of 2 loaves but that was not the case. Highly recommended!

I recently threw away my 26 year old bread bin because I decided it was time for a change. This is the best bread box I've ever had! It is well made and the size is perfect. I currently have a whole loaf of bread, some English muffins and fresh rolls in my new bread bin and they fit perfectly and leave room. a little. The bread bin itself is thin metal, not heavy at all, no seams on the inside on the sides, even paint finish, the lid just sits on top. We were curious if there would be some kind of ring on the inner hem of the upper, but there isn't - that's not a problem. The product was exactly what I was looking for: a large box to take our bread, english muffins, crackers etc off the counter. The box is metal and very thin, and the top is light wood and looks a bit like a cutting board (although I'm not sure it will hold up to much). I just LOVE this bread bin! I have a small area in my kitchen where I keep all my bread and it takes up so much space! In addition, it was not cosmetically appealing. When I received the bread box, I thought at first that it wouldn't fit much space, but I was wrong! You can even put an extra loaf of bread on top (I do this when I'm topping up and don't have enough room inside) and it saves counter space while still looking inviting.
