This monitor has really good picture quality and is easy to set up. The sound is not loud enough for my purposes (measurements), but it is enough to expand my laptop. It's very thin and light which makes it perfect for what I use it for. The magnetic cover is a nice touch to protect it in transit.

I wish I'd known this sooner when I was lugging around a full monitor and my Mac Mini. Now I have a MacBook and I need an extra screen. It's easy to carry, is powered by my Macbook and the picture is good! I've only used it once so I'll let you know if I run into any problems. There are many different cables that come with the monitor, but I have a Surface Pro and the mini-DP cable is not one of them. The instructions provided made it clear to me what I needed. The required cable was sent to me free of charge within 2-3 days. Excellent customer care.

In response to my previous complaint about distortion and blurring, customer service was quick to chime in and offer help. They fixed the problem by changing the upscaled resolution to 1080p, and they offered a free Lightning cable to connect to the iPhone. I am now very satisfied with the product and the service.

The monitor works exactly as described. I just plugged it into my Windows 10 computer and it was recognized immediately. It looks bigger than in the picture. The speakers sound a little tinny, but that's easily remedied with the headphone jack. I have a feeling the brightness could be a bit brighter, but that's not a problem, especially for a portable monitor.

It worked fine for a couple of weeks when connected via USB-C. Then one day the screen just went black. After some fiddling, I find that it turns itself off when my computers are asleep. The solution is to turn it off every night or unplug it from my laptop as soon as it shuts down. For the price it's a decent second monitor and I can travel with it which is very handy.

I am very impressed with this external monitor. It was very easy to set up and the resolution is excellent. I have previously bought a side rail that cost twice as much but the resolution and quality is not comparable to this type. This one is larger and comes with a speaker. My only suggestion is that the volume should be higher on this monitor.
