Good graphics adapter

The adapter met my expectations as it allowed me to run games I couldn't play . on my base Dell system with integrated adapters on the motherboard. I would have given it a higher rating but I had to go back to VisionTek for a manual for this model which was not on the included CD or online support. When using the manual for a different model (4350), the support responded quickly. Also, the driver that came with the device didn't work on my system. Their online support was able to scan my system

Pros
  • HDMI, dual link DVI and VGA ports to support multiple monitors (up to 2)
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Ideal for work or software. Not recommended for demanding games.

Bought this for a work computer but I'm also a gamer. Of course I've tried a few games from my Steam on it and the best performance you'll get would be with an older Bethesda game like Oblivion. It has significant bottlenecks for virtually anything more sophisticated. For other purposes it helps a lot. It works flawlessly with graphics and video editing, and any work can hurt me. I switched it to an HP 8200 Compaq with a 5th gen i5 that also had an SSD and a bunch of old DDR3 gaming memory.

Pros
  • HDMI video and 7.1 audio (requires DVI to HDMI adapter)
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works great if you want a low profile, fanless graphics card.

I bought this VisionTek graphics card to replace a larger 5 year old graphics card with the same capabilities. This product has worked great for me. I bought two VisionTek cards. It has HDMI and DVI; I bought another VisionTek with Mini Display Port to connect my 2009 Apple Cinema Monitor. This product works for me (pre-Thunderbolt monitor). I was looking for a low profile, fanless graphics card to reduce space and noise. These cards were one of the few I could find on the market that was…

Pros
  • 1GB DDR3 High Speed Memory
Cons
  • Expensive
