Time 7:30 am. I was cold and tired, the compressor was removed, the motor worked and the pump broke. The fuse blows and the engine does not run. Tomorrow I'll check all the wiring again, but I think the motor is faulty right away. Now I have to take that position and do it again.

I installed this pump as a spare, it's a heavy duty model so I figured it would work a little better than the first one which I was disappointed with. And a big disappointment. I've only installed it for a month and it doesn't work, I got maybe 15 beeps before. What a waste of money again.

Compressor lasted maybe 2 weeks and died. I bought 3 sets of train horns and none of them lasted, then I ordered this compressor to fix a set and it only took 2 weeks, it works fine but it doesn't come back. I would like a good replacement for the compressors. for all 3 sets

I bought this in 2018 and used it for about a month or two. Since then it has been disabled. I thought there was a leak somewhere, I tried tightening everything and swapping the parts. Eventually disassembled the entire airline and found sludge had accumulated in the line. The compressor died and I hardly used it. Don't waste money. I can't get a warranty because I've been chasing the air leak problem for too long.

Installed this compressor on my Hummer H2. I already had a tank. In fact, it bolts directly to the existing brackets. I use it for my horn and have added an auxiliary line so I can pump up tires, blowers etc. So far so good, the air compressor seems to be filling up pretty quickly. I hope to use this for years to come. It has 1 year warranty. 👍

Update: This was originally a 4 star review due to some minor issues. But since then problem after problem. Defective electrics in the engine, loose bolts, dirt getting into the engine despite the built-in strainer, now the engine is completely stuck and I'm tired of fighting it. Spend your money elsewhere I used Vixen many years ago and never had a problem. Now this compressor has not run for more than 2 weeks in a row. The first was made 3 months before the fire.
