Not worth the quality and price

The pan is heavy and difficult to clean it's a nightmare Took 15 scrubs to get rid of a few burnt spots here and there Won't buy again

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

great frying pan

This pan is a good weight, well made and should last forever. I like the size as the long side matches the depth of my oven and I can put two side by side.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Didn't meet my expectations

The quality wasn't as good as I expected, it's too light for what I wanted. Leaves stains after washing, I think it was worth paying more for better quality.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Thin

Very overpriced and much smaller than pictured

The pan is just a semi-gloss regular 13x11 baking pan. The rim of the pan just sticks out and is very uncomfortable to hold. The label that was stuck on was just awful to remove. At over $45, it's just a big disappointment.

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • I'm concerned

It's absolutely perfect. Shape/embossing including handles

The construction of this pan is steam-free. It's absolutely perfect. The shape/embossing includes handles. It's exactly the same as the original that I'm replacing with this one. The old one burst after 48 years of heavy use. I would buy two, just doubt I'll live long enough to wear this one!

Pros
  • GOLS-certified
Cons
  • old

Don't waste your money and time!

After spending thousands of dollars on Amazon, this is my first negative review. Described as expensive by others, this pan is clearly a 'second' from the manufacturer as it has long scuff marks on the sides, rim and a 4 x 2 inch discoloration on the bottom. Fingerprints and traces of water droplets remained on the surface. In contrast, I also bought an 8x8 stainless steel pan from another company and it was so shiny it looked like a mirror. I am very disappointed in the lack of quality control

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Sad hardware

Ideal for a shallow oven!

This pan is very well made and EASY to clean. My first course was fried chicken with hash browns and butternut squash. Anything that can stick to the pan. When everything is out of the pot, add some wine to deglaze and you're done. Wipe, rinse quickly and nothing sticks. Very pleased - perfect for the small 20" oven (16" internal width) in my NYC apartment. Be wary of other pots with extra-long handles—even though they're listed as 16 or 17 inches, they're 19 inches or larger with handles and…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • May damage

Decent medium sized fryer but overpriced

This fryer was smaller than I expected (my fault) but we kept it for smaller items. The dimensions in the description are external dimensions. This pan is neither thick nor thin stainless steel. The edges are neither sharp nor smooth. The size is not big and not small. Average everything except the $50 price, which I soon found out was high. Because I later found a Cusinart stainless steel pan at Target for the same price that was larger (15 x 10 x 4 inside), with thicker stainless steel…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • So so

I love this frying pan on the frying pan

I love Vollrath pans. I now have 3 of these - two of the 3.5 liter. and one of 4.75 qt. They are amazing! They are a sturdy stainless steel construction. Each of the smaller ones bakes a sheet cake or roasts a chicken. 4.75 liters. easily cooks a large roast beef or pork. They cook the food evenly. Cleaning isn't a problem either, although they are NOT non-stick coated. Their one-piece design leaves no room for groceries. I have a stainless steel kitchen sink and 4.75 liters. The bowl fits…

Pros
  • Wide range
