Terrible connection

This monitor is terrible. I can't figure out what's wrong with the best will in the world. I have a smaller wiki from 2019 and it doesn't support signal connection. The picture shows the proof...the cameras for both monitors are in the same room, and yet the new one has a 1 or 0 in signal strength and the connection is uneven and crackling. I need to leave another monitor in the room facing the other baby's bed so I can at least be there for my little one if the new monitor goes down. So…

Video quality NOT GOOD

Our 6 year old video monitor broke so we followed the recommendation of a celebrity mother who was delighted with the VTech VM 351 dual camera monitor. Well, a few clicks later and we have a VTech baby monitor. We liked the two cameras, but that's about it. The video quality was BAD day or night. Every movement was blurred. Honestly, 6 years ago our kids video monitor had a sharper picture than VTech. We sent it back and settled on the same brand as our old monitor - Summer Infant. If you are…

Screen quality looks like it's from the 80's

When I first unpacked it I thought it was great. The screen is huge, the cameras are cool damn it, even the packaging it came in was good. Then I pocketed it and the honeymoon was over. The screen quality is grainy, like an old analog TV from the 80's. Night vision is terrible, I only see a lump, probably my child, and then only with a camera without an additional lens. If you put on a wide-angle lens, there is no night vision. I still can't figure out how to turn off the monitor screen without

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Spend your extra $20 on a pan, zoom and pan monitor! This is a fixed camera. Probably to keep a close eye on the baby sleeping in the crib. If you're being given this to keep track of your active toddler, don't do it. There are only 2 views. Enlarged or really enlarged! I have a normal living room. About 20 x 20. I see a corner of the room. The wide-angle lens provides a slightly better view. The camera is stationary and does not pan/pan. You have NO other view of the room than what the camera…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Will write later

We bought this to replace our old model of the same item and it was great except got finicky about the cable to keep it inside. On this new one, they've replaced the USB connector with a much more secure but non-replaceable connector. This is +1. However, changing the buttons was a step backwards. The button that switches from single camera to patrol is now hidden in the menu instead of a separate button, although there is enough space on the front panel for it. The cameras aren't great either.

Pros
  • glitter
