The buffer itself is fine. Good speed control. Ergonomic handle. Would buy again. However, the polish included in the kit is complete nonsense. It needs velcro but instead uses a small drawstring skirt that falls apart in about 30 seconds. Had to order separate Velcro straps to use it. Worth the money but ViVid needs to step up its game and include a decent velcro polishing pad.

Honestly, you get what you pay for. What was really disappointing was the thin and cheap wool padding that came with it. I thought it was velcro but turns out it wasn't. There are laces on the padding that you have to tie and they barely fit. After a few seconds the padding fell apart and ripped as soon as I started to move. Low settings are useless. There is not enough current to rotate the buffer. Unstable speeds. You will need to purchase separate buffer pads for this.

This is the perfect polisher for the beginner or seasoned professional who has multiple projects. If you follow the basic polishing protocol, the machine works very well. It's easy to assemble and relatively quiet, but it's a power tool! I recommend using it on flat or semi-curved panels. Not suitable for complex plates, but definitely better by hand. In general I am very satisfied with his work. The polishing cap included in the kit is best used by hand. I would have liked the velcro lining…
