This is the perfect polisher for the beginner or seasoned professional who has multiple projects. If you follow the basic polishing protocol, the machine works very well. It's easy to assemble and relatively quiet, but it's a power tool! I recommend using it on flat or semi-curved panels. Not suitable for complex plates, but definitely better by hand. In general I am very satisfied with his work. The polishing cap included in the kit is best used by hand. I would have liked the velcro lining, as the base plate supplied is designed that way. It appears to be of good quality but without properly fastening it the skinny tie breaks apart very quickly. I am ordering more pads and a second backing board for self-adhesive sponge pads. That was my only criticism, but it works quite well by hand. Great little polisher! I would buy this again!
