Perfect for a quick simple test. Length measurement function not reliable

This cable tester is ideal for answering the question: In which room did this line end up again? It also provides fast and accurate wire diagnostics to identify which of the 8 wires in the cable has the problem. For these two tasks alone, this cable tester is very inexpensive and no problem for large cabling jobs. and provides basic diagnostics in no time at all. Great DIY budget cable tester - 😊👍

I worked as an electronics engineer in what seemed like a different life. In this job I used one of these many times when we were troubleshooting line issues. The tester we had cost 3-4 times more than this one. After I retired, I got calls from friends asking for help troubleshooting their home network. Good Ethernet Tester

I got this one for free for an unbiased review. I work in the telecom/internet industry and use Ethernet a lot. Along with repairing if damaged/bad. So I couldn't pass up testing this counter.
