Absolutely the best for fine furniture

My family has been using this polish for over fifty years. I swear to you. Beeswax based natural shine it gives to furniture is amazing. Really restores furniture. Really, highly recommended!

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Label Smoke Warning

The product contains warnings for indoor use, which is notable as it is sold for use on indoor furniture. Returned without opening as they didn't want to use a toxic product in a household with young children.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • Irritant

Deep Luminous Glitter - Household Items

I discovered this wax in a historic house, Stratford Hall, which had the finest furniture with a deep luminous finish. I bought a jar and it takes so little that it took me 15 years to need more. Wax is particularly good for antiques.

Pros
  • As everything before
Cons
  • Negative Impression

I was recommended to use Vernax woodworking furniture polish.

I have an old house from the 1890s. Vernax woodworking furniture polish was recommended to me to achieve a natural shine. I applied it as recommended on the tin and am very happy with the natural shine result.

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Hagerty Vernax is a good replacement for Finish Feeder

We have a beautiful antique quarter-sawn oak dining table. We have been using the Finish Feeder exclusively for almost 40 years. After running out and not being able to find it in stock, we were very concerned about the loss of luster on the table. THANK YOU Hagerty for the product that brought our table back.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Ideal for deep cleaning

I have used this product to clean real wood shutters and cabinets that have had a bit of 'sand' from years of pet and child care. The downside is your home smells like you're planning an arson attack. For some time. On a positive note, this product actually removes things like limescale (from my kitchen water heater that runs 24/7 leaving white deposits that NO product has been able to touch before)! I opened windows etc before using it but a couple of kids said they got dizzy while using it…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Very Good Product: Wood Polish

Vernax was recommended to me by a professional furniture restorer. I use it on almost all wooden furniture. Rub on thinly, let dry, polish with a soft cloth. I use an absorbent cotton or microfiber cloth for polishing, but the restorer prefers wool felt. Applying Vernax too thickly can take some effort to buff, but persistence pays off. Cleans the wood surface and leaves a subtle waxy shine that makes the wood look neat.

Pros
  • Housewares
Cons
  • Fade
