When I installed new hardware, I had to assemble the last piece. When I did that, the tab came loose. Now I can no longer raise the rack, I can only lower it. :(

In theory it should have been great, but 50% of the parts were missing. No clips, no screws. I had to fit 1/3 of the parts and search the garage for bits. The adjustable part doesn't stay in the top position, so it's always in the lowest position. The instructions were bad, but not that they were difficult to understand.

I tried to order this product direct from Whirlpool but the order was delayed until at least December 2021 (which didn't help when my top shelf was completely broken in July 2021). Update on how the original parts were made. My husband was able to install it easily after watching a video on YouTube (the pictures in the instructions are very blurry and incomprehensible). I only had one broken reel so I bought a set at the same time as I bought this, just to replace the plastic reel seats of the same design as the existing one. I started with this kit (update!) and found that the instructions were unclear and the photos illustrating the instructions were too dark to use. The steel parts of this kit also had sharp edges.
