Terrible app + Bad strap design

Adjusting the strap is a hassle as it is the only way to get the right fit. Also, the design of the app is absolutely terrible. 1) It doesn't work with my Garmin Vivoactive 4. 2) You need to have your phone with you to record data and 3) You need to keep the app open. Should you tell Spotify to change the song? This will reset your mileage like you never have. You have to start over. I hate to say it, but there was absolutely no customer thought put into the app, and that's 50% of the product…

Works great, fits seamlessly with Apple Watch and iPhone

I've driven this 20 miles and will be driving another 100 this week. works as intended so far and seems accurate when tested with a finger-based heart rate monitor. Update: I've been using it for a while now and it's absolutely bug-free so far. automatically finds the iphone, wahoo bolt or apple watch and gives me real-time beats per minute very quickly. There is some lag with the Apple Watch, but that's due to the watch. I use Watch 3rd on the phone or Wahoo Bolt, they are available. Update…

Stay away for a while.

Let me start by saying that I've been training for almost two decades. Everything from regular weightlifting to Olympic powerlifting and now a serious amateur cyclist. I know how to operate these devices. However, I have half a dozen HRMs. Everything from Gen 1 Tickr and Polar to Garmin. I completed two of these Tickr2s in 8 weeks. Wahoo guarantees the first and the same thing happened with the second. There is a very serious! Error in the new design. The support was great but they read the…

Heart rate not accurate

The device measures the heart rate about twice as high as it actually is. I went to Wahoo's support site and tried various suggestions to get the device to measure correctly. None worked. I contacted Wahoo Support via email. In the email, I summarized everything I had done to get the device working and provided a photo of the heart rate measured by the blood pressure monitor at the same time my heart rate was being measured. according to TICR. The photo documented a factor of two discrepancies.

Just got a new ticker (white). According to the manual, the firmware should be updated. I tried, the application has an error that the update cannot be completed. After several attempts, the progress bar on the update screen went to the end, but it still didn't show that the update was complete. Closed the app and reinstalled, this time it found the latest firmware and didn't throw any errors and was able to see the sensor normally. But the heart rate in the Wahoo app shows zero for a minute…

Not great for exercise and fitness

Some rubbish. The only thing worse than no heart rate data is inaccurate heart rate data. It happily displays random heart rates throughout my ride. When I put it on for the first time and wet the bands as instructed, it was reading 175 beats per minute. By now my real heart rate was around 80-90. It continued to read high readings until I got home (it rarely updated new inaccurate readings). After the trip I used the utility to check if there was a firmware update and it showed 46bpm. This was

Pairing difficulties, accuracy

This device should be paired as soon as possible if it is wobbly or secured with a belt. If you don't pair within 30 seconds, your device will block pairing until you remove the wristband and leave it idle for a few minutes, then try again. When you connect all your devices to the Wahoo Fitness app and then to your Zwift through the zwift companion app on your mobile device, it seems to perform better but is still spirited. The instrument has always been very accurate for me. Unless you know…
