I needed a stand that would 1. allow airflow through the vents on the bottom of my laptop and 2. free up space on my desk. This platform is perfect! Holes on the surface allow hot air to freely escape from my laptop. The four legs take up little space, which makes it easy for me to put other items under the laptop. However, the rubber plugs on each of the 4 legs stick to my table and when I try to raise the stand the rubber plugs stick to the table (so the stand goes up without the plugs).
