I needed a stand that would 1. allow airflow through the vents on the bottom of my laptop and 2. free up space on my desk. This platform is perfect! Holes on the surface allow hot air to freely escape from my laptop. The four legs take up little space, which makes it easy for me to put other items under the laptop. Finally, the "sleeves" of the legs are smooth (except for the height adjustment holes) and can be rotated so the holes and pins point in different directions. Vision. Not sure why some people are unhappy with the wobble, but mine is perfectly stable.
