💪 Heavy Duty Clamp: Walker 35336 2 1/4 Inch, Top-Notch Durability Review

Works acceptable. Had to be replaced in less than 3 years due to rust/frost and broken nuts on removal. I painted the second one with high temperature paint and protected it from seizing. I hope this lasts longer.

Really durable and well made. The clamp does not deform when tightened to the exhaust pipe. The text says 2 1/4 inches but the actual inside diameter is 2 1/2 inches. It was a little loose for my whistles. I like the tight fit so the tube deforms less when tightened.

These clamps are complete junk. I sincerely believe that a "T-bolt" type hose clamp can clamp the exhaust pipe better than this one. These clamps could not even deform the exhaust pipe. The stamped piece of metal bent around the tube and flattened out, then the strings pulled out of one of the nuts. Luckily for me these things are useless enough that I was able to knock the broken/stuck clamp off the end of the pipe without loosening it. Unfortunately I used them just before my holiday after…
