Tips to get the most out of this knife! Ideal for cutting Rubbermaid plastic kegs

I use this to cut holes in the lids of large plastic kegs (e.g. Rubbermaid, 10-15 gallons) , I sincerely believe this is the closest thing to the ideal solution. If you are using for a similar project I would consider getting a lighter and a butane refill so you can heat the plastic to speed up the process as the hot knife will slow down at times indicating that it needs to be brought up to temperature again. it is also possible to use a utility knife or a precision knife heated periodicallyโ€ฆ

Toolbox Foam Cutting

Just about to spend $200 on a fancy 5S toolbox foam. I decided the price was wrong but I followed the advice of several customers. They all recommended this hot knife. I ordered this knife with 4 additional sets of blades. I then drove to Harbor Freight and bought 2 of their four packs of anti-fatigue foam mats. I used gorilla glue and placed two open cell foam pads along with gorilla glue and water, I put a weight on the pads, today it was done. My new knife arrived today, I traced the insideโ€ฆ

Barely works! Be ready to hurt yourself.

There are no listed differences between Standard and Premium, so I went with Standard. Ridiculously short cable. The built in power switch only causes the extra weight to pull it off the table. The stand is a joke as the actual tool is the lightest part, everything is unbalanced, be extremely careful when using it, preferably use it on the floor. Without cover. for blades, easy to damage the tool or yourself. Enjoy! UPDATE: So this almost doesn't work. I tried my best to be patient and let theโ€ฆ
