Simply amazing in wood conditioners, waxes and oils

Use this stuff in my hands, new meat block island/bar in my kitchen and I am more than happy with it. The word absorbs perfectly, there is no smell and most importantly it does not allow water to absorb perfectly. good product. I'm so far into my 2nd resignation!

  • Trial for one year

The oil is amazing, the bottle is under the baseboard.

The product itself is amazing. The bottle it comes in is not very good. The lid leaks after first opening and the handle is so small it almost gets in the way instead of being useful for pouring. The bottling is also an unclean process due to the shape of the bottle neck.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

This is good stuff.

I bought this to use on cutting boards and it works great. I like that it says Food-Safe in rather big letters, it reduces questions. The finish is great and long lasting. I've followed suit with their cutting board wood wax, but it's really overkill. That's all you need if you don't skimp on it.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No instructions

A miracle for my damaged butcher block!

My 14ft Meatblock countertop is the centerpiece of my kitchen. But I haven't always done it right. (There are tried-and-true methods of conditioning a block of meat, but this time I wasn't committed enough!) There were some damaged spots and the counter tended to dry out after contact with water. It was ugly and non-functional. So I restarted walrus oil - voila! After a few uses, the counter turned dark gold, and it was clear that the porous wood was just soaked in oil. Worked great for protecting a large cutting table

My wife wanted a sewing and cutting table so we bought a 74" x 40" cutting table and bought a table lift. The butcher block needs to be protected even if we don't use it for eating. My wife put a few coats of walrus oil on the top and bottom of the butcher table and it looks and feels amazing. I bought this 32 ounce bottle because I didn't think the 8 ounce bottle I already had would be anywhere near enough, but in the end she barely needed this bottle. Walrus oil is just a name. Great product but overpriced

I'm a realtor and I make a cutting board for clients when they close their house. I bought a few bottles of it. Absolutely no problems with the product. Works great and makes the boards look great. I was going to order another $25 bottle but decided to find some recipes and make my own. I've mostly made front boards that don't absorb a lot of oil, but I've started making almost all end boards that use a lot of oil. I wanted to keep costs down so I looked at the ingredients.
