WATER SOURCE TFV 125NL Foot Valve: Ensuring Reliable Water Flow and Protection Review

The valve connects to a 1 1/4 inch fitting and opens just enough to allow good flow for my 1 HP pump. The sand screen was a nice bonus, I give it a 4 because the sand in my fountain is too fine and a lot of it goes through the screen and clogs my sprinkler heads. I think I need to find a good built in filter.

Complete scrap. (one). Came crumpled (2) Cheap plastic was slow to leak so after installation I had to remove the well pipes (3). NOT the same item as on the Revain website (4). Wouldn't exchange/refund me. Overall it was a bad experience and a complete waste of $23. DO NOT buy items from this seller.

I replaced a hand pump for a shallow well in my backyard. I bought a new pump from Revain and this foot valve. I purchased 23 foot 1-1/4" galvanized pipe at a local hardware store. After putting a little tape on the pipe, the bottom valve turned slightly. I now have a working "classic" hand pump right in my backyard .I've had it for about 3 months and it's working great.Over time I'll give another review on reliability.
