Works as advertised, but materials are a bit low grade. I don’t see this lasting for years. If the price point was down in the $30 range, I’d feel better about getting what feels like a short term rain/sun solution, then perhaps buying another every few years. Or perhaps paying more once for something similar that lasts a decade. Only one use so far, so time will tell if it holds up. I go through a lot of cheap camping supplies though, so I’m typically correct in my assumptions about longevity…

I bought these for a recent camping trip in Michigan just in case it rained. Weather showed possible thunderstorms midway through our stay, so I set two of these up (13x13 and 10x10) ahead of time. Boy am I glad I did. The second night into our trip, we got dumped on for about 8 hours straight, all through the night. I’m not talking a light rain either, it was a legit thunderstorm. This was ok for the price. It took us a while to figure out the best set up. We used it Labor Day weekend at the Gorge in Washington state. It tends to get quite windy during the day but we found that the best set up is the pictured A-Frame worked best. If it came with 2 more poles it would be SO much better. It was a great size to pack in a suitcase and folded back up to fit back in the carry case. Overall I would recommend.

Tarp seems great so far. Excellent in the SoCal Anza Borrego Desert. Kept us amazingly cool under the blistering sun.Held up great in the wind. would highly recommend replacing the stakes and guylines and tensioners though. nothing failed but I would not trust them for long term durability.seams, grommets, tieouts and overall general construction of the tarp seem great though. Haven't experienced the tearing other users have reviewed about. Will update if anything changes.

We've used this tarp for 2 weeks and are very happy with it. We have converted an ambulance with a 13 foot box body to a camper and attach one side through the loops to a rail on the roof installed b a previous owner. We us the 2 poles and ropes to hold the other end of the tarp.We spent a rainy week in the smoky mountains with friends and the tarp provided plenty of space for us to gather, cook and eat in the rain. This tarp with its great directions was very easy for one person to put up. Looking forward to using it as a dining fly on my next camping trip.

Did is job when the reason wouldn't stop and my water resistant canopy couldn't resist any longer. I there this tarp over it and was dry the rest of the day. Better instructions would've been useful.

I'm outdoors a lot and whether camping, hunting, fishing or just hanging out, this tarp is a great easy way to have shade or cover from rain. It's lightweight and easy to use. Awesome purchase!

First impression is great. Attachment points and corners seem pretty tough, we will see how it holds up when using out at the lakes or camping but so far I am impressed for the price.

Not bad for the price. I don't know if it would hold up in hurricane conditions, but provides quick shade when I want it. I'd suggest upgrading the pegs if you're going to use it in windy conditions or leave it up for any length of time. It's great for camping and picnicking in my Subie.
