I bought these for a recent camping trip in Michigan just in case it rained. Weather showed possible thunderstorms midway through our stay, so I set two of these up (13x13 and 10x10) ahead of time. Boy am I glad I did. The second night into our trip, we got dumped on for about 8 hours straight, all through the night. I’m not talking a light rain either, it was a legit thunderstorm. It was pouring, lightning and thunder all night long. The next morning, I woke up and our tent and picnic table were dry as a bone! Not even a small drop inside the tent! These things were a life saver! If I had one negative thing to say about this tarp setup, it’s that the small stakes they include are just crap. The second you hit a rock, they bend like a pretzel, but for this price range, you can just buy a good set of stakes.
