This is a really good iPad case for an adult, but it's too thin for a kid who mishandles devices and takes things apart. My autistic son removed the silicone bumper within a week and then tore the thin membrane protecting the home button the following week. Luckily, the main plastic part of the case was harder to remove and is holding up.

Not worth $170. The material feels and looks very cheap. Our 2 year old son uses an iPad so we wanted a protective case. I originally bought an Otter and found that it wasn't waterproof. A day and night between these two suitcases and the otter cost $80. Also, the box looked like it had been opened. Needless to say we are back.

After owning this brand new product for 6 months, I dropped my iPad in its case from about 60cm in the shower. The hull immediately collapsed, filled with water. My iPad isn't working right now. But to make matters worse, I contacted Catalyst about this and was told they would do nothing - no refund, no replacement, NOTHING.
