Better to spend a little more and get pure horsehair

I have bought a plastic bristle brush for my workshop in the past and the bristles were very stiff so I was very unhappy with them. After reading some more I found these brushes and saw that they have a 100% pure horsehair brush for just a little bit more so I spent the money and bought them and I couldn't be happier. This is a great brush and I really appreciate the feel of the wooden handle. That's a great brush!

but sheds like a dog in summer

really bad quality product. No one should be selling this to the public, especially Revane. Hair falls off this brush all the time, and not just from time to time, it sheds like a dog in the summer. This brush has no body and is difficult to clean the surface. The grip is very rough and does not have a natural grip shape. I could - and should - buy a much better table brush cheaply at my local HomeDepot.

Good brush: household goods

The handle of the brush is beautiful and durable. The hair doesn't fall out at all. I use this brush to brush my body hair after a haircut. I should have used a softer brush as the hair on this brush is pretty rough for my skin, but the brush cleans my hair well. The hair does not bend and is fixed in a certain way. I have had other brushes where if you leave the brush on the hair the hair will bend in a certain way. No problem with this brush.

Great inexpensive horsehair brush

Nothing cleans like horsehair. I have a 50 year old horsehair brush that my dad gave me and it works great. I needed a second one for another spot and this hamlet brush was perfect. This is a good sized brush that I use for rubbing between layers of clear polyurethane on trim and furniture. After applying the first layer of polyethylene I dry with 600 paper and then use this horsehair brush to remove most of the dust and then use a sticky rag for the final dust removal. This Weiler brush cleans

Good quality shop brush

I work on a machine that produces a lot of aluminum shavings and dust. They can be light flakes and stick to the surface of things so a straw broom cannot reach them. This brush is great for brushing off my rough plywood desktops. It also picks up fine dust very well. Just for the record, I don't plan on using the brush on any of the many oily surfaces my shop has, although I don't think the bristles will wick and ruin. The brush is not that long ago, but I can say that the bristles are of high

Perfectly removes cat hair from the fabric.

So I have 3 cats. One threw up like crazy at any time of the year and had pure white fur. If she sleeps on the corner of the bed, there will be enough fur on the blanket to make her a cat toy. I comb her everyday, it never stops (shocked she isn't bald yet tbh). This brush makes it much easier to clean where she likes to rest. A few strokes and the fur folds into an easy-to-grasp shape. Sofa, bed, blanket, even a towel - everything works. It's soft enough not to damage fabric but dense enough…

The Weiler brush is longer than advertised overall

Revain's published specifications for this brush consistently state an overall length of 20cm. I knew that couldn't be true, so I took a chance and ordered the brush anyway. In fact, the bristle portion is eight inches and the handle portion is at least another four inches. I used a brush to sweep the sawdust off the smooth surface of the workbench into a dustpan. The brush was perfect for this purpose and is generally the right length. I'm only giving four stars because the bristles sometimes…
