Those are terrible hooks. They break if someone tries to screw them onto a piece of wood.

Those are terrible hooks. They break if someone tries to screw them onto a piece of wood. Other reviews note the same weakness, but Revain continues to sell them. Either stop selling these hooks or display negative reviews more clearly. Now I have to buy new hooks. How painful.

Weak metal, breaks

This is garbage. I bought these to screw into the soft 2x2 pine I added to my deck for hanging twinkle lights. Even after drilling pilot holes I managed to unscrew 2 hooks at the base of the screw and 1 hook broke in my hand. I only needed 5, so 60% of the ones I tried failed miserably. Spend a few bucks more and get well-made hooks.

A company with integrity!

I bought a set of 10 safety cup hooks as I needed them in my RV for my upcoming vacation. The envelope came quickly but was EMPTY. BUMPER. I immediately filed a complaint and they immediately sent me a replacement. Just in time for vacation. If you look closely at the photos of these hooks from different suppliers, they all come from the same factory (probably China). It's a cheap metal can with a fake bronze finish. BUT, they are very attractive and seem strong enough to hold coffee cups while
