Excellent value for money and quality.

good value for money. There's plenty of sand to make them last a while and the selection is great for most jobs. The blocks are hand-sized and the paper base doesn't deteriorate after the first wear. All in all I would recommend her. They're never going to replace an electric grinder, but you should have some on hand for smaller jobs.

Superb Sanding Blocks

These sanding blocks are durable and easy to use. They are a lot cheaper than 3M blocks but I don't see any difference in quality. I'll probably keep buying these - so much better than regular sandpaper. I've read some reviews that said they can't tell the grit from each other, but the grit is marked on the side of each block (hard to miss).

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Much better than sandpaper

Wow. I almost made the mistake of buying sandpaper; Finally got online to buy this. Then I saw these. I would probably go through stacks of papers and be wracked with tears and tears. Yes, they do wear out over time (hence the four stars), but my goodness, they're great. They have earned their "place" in my range of tools.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons

Wears out too quickly

Standard sandpaper with a block works better. Nice to hold but I only get one side of the door before I have to switch to the other. They dry for several hours. An 80 grit sponge will turn into a 150 grit sponge after two or three uses. I wouldn't buy 180 or more because 80, 100, 120, 150 grit quickly becomes 220. Great idea, but not for me.

They last a long time

Bought them about two years ago. During that time I have used them on several projects. I sanded the old kitchen table, chairs and floor. You are doing a wonderful job. Sponges are easy to use. You can get a good handle on them. The lips are still intact, there is not a single scratch. When you're done, simply rinse with warm water and squeeze lightly. Dry for half an hour. I highly recommend them to people!

Pros
  • Abrasive and finishing materials
Cons
  • Doubt

Not suitable for sanding wood

Not only suitable for soft wood. If you grind something else, they won't give a permanent pattern. Especially at the fiber end, the grain resists sanding, while softer woods sand easily, resulting in a "hills and valleys" texture. I found this disappointing as wood is one of the advertised uses for this product. It's a bit misleading in my opinion. It's probably great for other materials, but not wood.

Pros
  • Hand sanding products
Cons
  • Expensive
