Wells SW6713 Blower Control Switch Review

I had an issue with the switch where the fan kept blowing and level 4 randomly cut power to the fan. I replaced the part in 20 minutes and it works better than ever. Here is the tutorial I made so you can do it yourself:

2005 Tiburon GS is the perfect solution to the problem at hand. I saved a lot of money to fix the "AC off" problem that is common on these models. Installation only took about ten minutes and the air conditioner works like new again.

I bought this for my 2006 Hyndai Tiburon which was having AC flicker problems at fan setting #3 and didn't work at all at setting #4. Once installed, this part worked. excellent on all 4 settings about 2 weeks. Now he's back where he used to be. Apparently this part worked and then failed. Very disappointed!

I bought this product in the summer of 2018 at the end of August. Easy to install if you have the tools to remove the Tiburon center plate. around the stereo controls etc. Unfortunately I started doing the same thing about a month ago in June 2019, changing the fan setting to 4 and it turning on and off and turning off the compressor. In short, it works great for a while. until it overheats and separates the contacts like the original switch!

fan switch literally fell apart a month after installing it shorted out in dash and almost caught fire and now i have no 26 bucks and no air con again best warranty. Wells products are usually better than this. I can't give a star rating for this review, so one star is too good for that.

Apparently this item keeps burning in the car so we just bought a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon, of course the stove burned out and my wife decided to fix it. The item itself was perfect. I had it in my shopping cart, contemplating buying it not knowing what was wrong with it. Prices have changed drastically in the time it has been in my cart, so I'm sure I could have gotten it cheaper then, maybe $20. BUT overall we were worth it and did a great job.
