Angle Gauges

This is what I needed but as others have said the markings are faded and the foam insert in the box holds the blocks so the faint markings are not visible. I somehow solved it by removing the insert and flipping it over. Not as nice if the former glued side up, but more functional.

Pros
  • Test, Measure and Inspect
Cons
  • Faint

Blocks with excellent value for money

Excellent for workshop and machinists. Everything measures well based on what I can ascertain. Lightly oiled and individually wrapped to prevent rust. Case and foam are in excellent condition. All are precision ground and individually marked. If they steal it, sorry someone else bought it or lost it, I would buy it again

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Socket required

Buy it for the tool not the box

The box was so-so and I threw it away. This took up 10x more space than the pads themselves. The pads have all the issues described in other reviews, namely barely readable markings and only on one side. I don't have an exact reference angle so I folded and flattened 25Β°. +5Β° near 30Β° and found that there was no noticeable difference when I ran my fingernail along the edges between the two faces. I'm a hobby machinist so I call it value for money.

Pros
  • Calibration
Cons
  • Not sure
