$15 wheelchair seat? Worth its price, no matter how cheap it is. :)

I bought this primarily to see how much $15 (discounted) a store bought wheeled seat could cost. Apparently not much. :) But seriously, I wasn't expecting anything at a pro level, so my expectations matched the price. So. Not bad for the occasional weekend handyman who polishes car rims or whatever, but with plastic wheels and what appears to be a plastic or very cheap aluminum threaded insert in the mounting bolt bushing (and in my case an offset pre-drilled hole bolt that led to this that the

Pros
  • Holds up to 250 pounds of evenly distributed weight
Cons
  • Some maintenance friendly

A good simple trolley that's easy on your knees and back. Install the casters first or tighten after installing the vertical supports. Locktite is good advice although I've never had a problem with anything falling apart as I'm good with hand tools. If that bothers you, use Loctite and lock washers. I'm only giving 4 stars because a puck is missing. There is no reason not to include 1 additional washer of each type required and 1 additional screw/bolt. This is something you can ALWAYS negotiate

Pros
  • Two year guarantee on it
Cons
  • I won't say anything

To make matters worse the underside of the seat as shown in the picture had burn marks and was EXTREMELY soft wood like they couldn't even use cheap pine or plywood or something? This further aggravated the situation when the…
