Rock-solid engine stability with Westar

The ANDEM 2436 is exactly what I needed to stabilize my engine and increase performance. It's durable construction ensures long lasting performance while reducing unwanted vibrations. The only downside is it may be slightly difficult to install for DIYers.

Pros
  • Stable engine, increased performance
Cons
  • Difficult installation

Fits, but the rubber is soft.

I installed it on a 1995 C1500. This mount fits perfectly but the rubber is very soft. I actually have a vibration on the old mount. I will buy the AC Delco Factor when I have enough money. Installation is relatively easy, only patience is required.

Pros
  • Includes a noise reduction system to prevent road noise and vibration from entering the vehicle.
Cons

Installation was easy, loosen both mounting bolts and raise the engine as high as possible. There are 3 screws that attach the bracket to the motor. The bracket can then slide down and out. So far I've only swapped the driver's side because…

Pros
  • Provides a locking mechanism to lock the strut and housing together
Cons
  • Cleanliness
