Blue Light and Circadian Rhythms

I loved it and if you don't mind LED lights at night I recommend you but learn more about blue light and how it disrupts the circadian rhythm and impacts other health issues . I will stop using them and look for good old light bulbs for my children's rooms.

really wanted this night light

so it's made of plastic but it's ok quite a nice part and glarey can't even say that it's an Edison thread. eyes hurt. A tinted finish would be ideal. So now I just put it in a hard-to-reach place, for example in the garage. very sad!

Pros
  • like everything before
Cons
  • there are problems

Plastic crappy look

I repeat what I see now, others have commented. Looks very, very plastic. A huge seam around the "bulb", which is very conveniently hidden in the photo. This alone makes it look cheap and loses any vintage feeling. Add to that the shine of the plastic base and it looks like a cheap modern copy of something vaguely resembling a vintage one. It's garbage.

Dissatisfied - does not like the description

The description says that it turns on automatically in the dark. However, the sensor doesn't seem to be working at all. I plugged it in with the lights on in a well-lit room and it continues to work no matter how brightly lit the room is. Also, the description says it's an amber glow, but it's not an amber glow at all - a very white light. The pattern looks like a lighter bronze finish, but it's very dark - almost black.

Nice but not the best value for money.

Although they look beautiful, they are always on. The light sensor points downwards so naturally that daylight does not reach it and the light can fade. For the price, I'm not happy with them. I don't like them always on so I have to pull them out of the wall. By the way, it doesn't matter where they are. One is above my kitchen counter and the other is near the floor but in a well-lit location with natural daylight. They replaced the other two lights with sensors that didn't have this problem.

  • Beautiful
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Vintage but needs a small update

After a week of use the lights definitely work and look exactly like the photos. The downside (hence the 4 stars) is the fact that the nickel or bronze finish is only matte and should at least look metallic. I took the nickel ones because the bronze ones looked black in the photos. Also, for an unknown reason, the dusk/dawn sensor has been placed on the bottom of the light, meaning you'll likely have to plug it in backwards for it to work. And that's when it works. As far as I can tell, the…

Not bad but a bit pricey for an all plastic

I bought these because I was too lazy to install proper lighting under the cabinet on either side of my oven like I did on the other side have the kitchen (it's not high-traffic "prep" countertops anyway); I just wanted some light so there isn't always a dark hole. These really are "NIGHT LIGHTS"; they provide soft, subdued scattered light. I think if they were brighter I would complain about glare. The color is nice but they are ALL plastic. In fact, the bulb can't even be replaced - it's an…
