Never move stacks of files between small USB drives again. Now everything has its home on one record. I've been using it for 3 or 4 months, no questions asked. Works perfectly. I have backed up many things with no problems. Easy to set up and use. I use this on both a MacBook Pro and a Windows laptop. I even do my regular backups to this drive. It was definitely worth it.

Ordered 3 of 8 TB Easystore to pull out and then use in NAS, this is what I got: All 3 were marked WDBCKA0080HBK-NESN, all 3 said, that they were made in Thailand .2 contains WD WD80EFAX red label drives, firmware 83.H0A831 contains WD WD80EMAZ white label drives, firmware 83.H0A83 All 3 work fine in Synology DS418j NAS without any changes to the SATA connector pins (ie Pin 3, 3B). No vibrations that I can perceive and very quiet. Good product.
