Apparently it worked as intended. I brought the running boards and hardware to the shop and they installed them in an hour. Since no comments were made, I assume everything worked as intended. I was told it would take an hour to install the footpegs.

Complete kit to replace the stock aftermarket brackets on my truck. Includes six mounts, three on each side. High quality accessories. Includes self-tapping screws for attaching brackets to non-threaded vehicles. Also included are square head screws for attaching the footpegs to the brackets. powder finish. Continuous. Installation took about 1.5 hours including removing the old brackets.

I bought some eBoard footboards and they came with cheap copies of these brackets from China. Chinese mounts did not fit. These genuine Westin mounts mount very well and are very strong. There were just a few things I didn't like about this set. The brackets were stamped with part numbers, but the stamped numbers didn't match any of the numbers in the instructions, so how you fit them is up to you. Calling Westin support didn't help either.
