Making projects a lot easier

I used to do some household projects when I had the time. During the COVID self-isolation I had more time for my projects. It used to be difficult to join two pieces of wood at a 90 degree angle and nail them accurately. So I was looking for something that can help me. When I received it, I tried it immediately. As I expected, this is a great tool that saved me a lot of time without having to rework. I like it and am considering buying another one.

Right angles right!

As a novice carpenter, I needed to use the right tools. In this case, despite having belt ties, rod ties, and pipe ties, I was missing something that might help me build better right angles. For a project I am working on this is a set of legs for my first table ordered. If the box isn't square, I don't make a good impression, no matter how pretty the desktop is. Everything is word of mouth. and this yoke has mine!

For nice tight corners

Used to keep the corners of the outer cat cage square. Would use to secure the 2'x4' corners and then use a nail gun to assemble the corner. Worked very well. They held 2" x 4" nice and safe. Doesn't slip or come loose. I could only do one lap at a time, but that was ok. I'm just a DYI guy so I don't need 4 of these. (Well I'd take them if you give me one.) We used plastic squares with clips on the other corners. They worked much better and easier. I'll probably use a little more for my next…

Very disappointed

Very disappointed with this product. I was really hoping this would help me find a quick way to join 90°. I was really hoping this would help me find a quick way to join 90°. When I use it to clamp, it pulls the wood apart and separates it. This does not allow good gap formation. It also doesn't shuffle the word evenly. It contracts at the top of the joint and opens at the bottom of the joint. In addition, the small structure does not support the backless connection, making it difficult to…

They are not suitable for welding clamps.

Intended to be used for welding, but there are some problems with welding. welded. You should also sand or file this epoxy on the underside to allow electrical contact to be made with your table. After that, it turns out that the aluminum alloy arcs and burns at the contact area with my table. I'm not sure if this black residue is from the remains of the epoxy coating or from the case itself. I will update the review after burning it for a while.

Simple, strong and versatile

Sometimes I do chores and I really appreciate and love the art of woodworking. I just wish I could find the time and courage to do more projects. This clip is extremely useful when you need to keep things straight. It's extremely easy to use and thanks to a very clever swivel mechanism, it can handle a wide range of log sizes. It is also very durable and seems to last forever with proper care. I originally bought a set of 90 degree corner clamps but had to return them because they were…

Why did I wait so long to buy this clip?

As a DIY enthusiast, I refused to buy such a special clip for a long time. I mean, for $20 I can get 2-3 general purpose clamps from Harbor Freight. I mastered the difficult connection of the corners, which didn't work out so well. However, filler and sandpaper are required for this. As I gained experience in woodworking, I improved my tools and jigs. I finally made up my mind and bought this clip. As soon as I used it I cursed myself for not buying it sooner. That's all the other reviewers…

Sturdy, easy to use and versatile

I have had several DIY projects where I assembled a rectangular clamp using pieces of wood and 3 or 4 regular clamps. Works but not very comfortable. So I ordered two of these rectangular clips and was not disappointed. I attached a 3" piece to a 1/4" piece - it's as easy as clamping two pieces of equal thickness. Clamping is done with a long threaded rod and a screwdriver-like handle. The parts seem a little wobbly when taken out of the box, but turns out that's just the flexibility of the job

Pros
  • Clamp Assortment
