🥗 Glass Salad Dressing Shaker with BlenderBall Wire Whisk - Whiskware Review

I was happy to find a 2.5 cup shaker. However, this is not the case. The mark in the photo clearly shows 2.5 cups, but the actual product barely holds 2.25. The bottle I received is even marked 2.25 instead of 2.5 plus space as in the photo. I am annoyed about this capacity, because my favorite recipe does not fit in this bottle. The bottle is nice, easy to use but not as big as described. Beware!

Good size and value for money. Easy to disassemble and clean. I would give it 5 stars except for two things: the spout makes it easy to drip over the rim after pouring; and it has no measurements in ounces (metric only). The latter isn't too bad because I mix the salad dressing in a ratio so I don't care about the actual number of ounces. Overall this is a great bottle for mixing and storing salad dressings and I would recommend it!

I've used saucepans to mix the vinaigrette, but they make a mess when pouring and shaking isn't always enough to mix the vinegar and oil. The Whiskware mixing ball works so well that I don't have to whip the vinegar when I pour in the oil. I just add spices, vinegar and oil, cover and shake well. It's all a mess. Once it's empty, I place all items on the top shelf of the dishwasher for washing.

The shaker is simply fantastic. I bought it because the one I bought from Target was useless (the top didn't stay closed and the headband flew all over the place when I shook it). Whiskware shaker worked great. It stayed closed, the dressing stayed fresh, and the whisk mixed the dressing perfectly — even the honey. I will be buying one for my daughter because there really is nothing like homemade salad dressing. Definitely worth the price!

This is the cutest little gadget! The lack of a drip spout works well, the size on the bottle is also a plus. My family loves salads and we love homemade dressings. We also love packaged dressings like Hidden Valley Ranch made with buttermilk. The blender ball works very well. Also note that homemade dressing sometimes separates, but with this Whisker Ball just a few shakes and the dressing is good again. I'm planning to get another one for our Italian style clothing. I definitely recommend it.

I use this to make my own ranch bandages. I use 1 cup buttermilk plus 1 cup mayonnaise; it fills almost to the brim. The pressure is good. The filling may be dirty. It pours quickly and dressing drips down the sides. Cleaning the cover is not the easiest. I have to squeeze the opening of the spout to wash it. We've had the glass version of this shaker for about 3 months now and all 3 salad lovers in the family hated it. With each use, the dressing overflows, requiring the person to eat the salad floating in the dressing. And it leaks (drips off the side) after each use - so the lid and then the base get very greasy over time.
