According to my experience this router bit was a disappointment. The bit was misaligned and did not create an accurate slot. Additionally, the bit broke after only a few uses, rendering it useless .While the price was reasonable, I expected a higher quality product from an Industrial and Scientific cutting tool..

I do woodworking and have many years and many projects under my belt. I've tried many different manufacturers over the years: Freud, Amana, Bosch. and cheap ones like Sears. While some of the best names make very good beats, I found Whiteside to be the best. They are very sharp right out of the box, the amount (size) of carbide is large (allows for more sharpening cycles), high quality carbide means they stay sharp longer; there is no chatter and burn marks are very rare.
