I have ordered two of these gates for different rooms in my house. They've only been installed for about a week, but they've already made our lives so much easier! Fantastic goal. As others have said you need to work with the gate to set it up properly. It appears to be "bent" when unpacked, but once the screw is tightened, it aligns as intended. If these gates weren't more expensive I would have about 3 of these at home. While $50 is a reasonable price, I think $40 would be fairer. Excellent goal! A limitation. You may need to increase the fit with something other than what comes with the gate. There are certain width holes that just don't work. Our opening was 38.25 inches. So the smaller extra sections were too small for the hole and adding a 4 bar superstructure made it too big for the hole. Last time my husband just used a small 1 inch piece of wood and it fits perfectly. He plastered it to give it a nice look, screwed it to the wall, and then painted it the same…

Now we have four of the same gates throughout the house. One at the top of the stairs, one in the hallway leading to the stairs, one in the dining room and a very large opening leading to the breakfast nook/now a games room off the kitchen. This gate is beautiful. I did a lot of research before buying it and it had a lot of great reviews that were helpful. We needed a pressure gate to go between our living room and kitchen. We originally wanted a sliding gate, but there were uneven posts in the wall and a lot of messed up electrical wiring, so we decided not to install anything. These gates are very attractive and fit perfectly into our interior. The small bow gives it a nice look. It was pretty easy to put on and is very durable.

This gate is great for keeping puppies. We bought other gates but the railing was too wide for the puppies to get through. These gates are also prettier (for metal gates) and easier to open and close. The advantages are also that the doors: 1) open in both directions; 2) stay open when you push them to the fully open position; and 3) automatic closing unless you push them to the open position. I was looking for a decent pressure gate that could span 60 inches to keep our dog out of the room. There is so much junk on Revain now that it was difficult to find anything that even looked like the actual product name that didn't have the same image as every other item.
