🧲 Wilton 63143 Magnetic Inserts 10 Inch: Enhance Efficiency and Precision! Review

Magnets are almost useless, very weak. I foolishly scraped some of the paint off the vise, thinking it would help the magnets stick better. But it didn't matter at all. I won't be returning them, but not a good buy.

Good product but didn't work well in my vise. As you can see it slides down as it is adjusted to have a much larger metal contact area. I ended up ordering some neodymium magnets and carving a hole in a piece of wood and it worked really well. Wilton should consider doing something similar or clarifying the type of vise it's intended for.

I originally wanted to make my own wooden vise inserts for my garage workbench, but I didn't like the component approach to vise parts I found in Woodcraft, so I decided to go with a simple (and lazy) street.
