Use cornmeal to make pizza slide better

Works great! I've had it for about a year with no problems. It takes a little getting used to, I think the metal slides easier, but I like the look and size. Cornmeal is needed to ensure the dough slides easily onto what makes the pizza.

A find for pizza lovers!

I'm glad a reviewer mentioned that their pizza ended up in the back of the oven because our pizzas stuck to the pans we used, so we made sure to be extra careful when using this product for the first time. What a find! The pizza slides easily on the pizza stone and the size is suitable for different sizes of pizza.

Launches Pizza Very Good

I have used a metal pusher with less than excellent results. Read online that wooden bowls work better, and it's absolutely true. The first pizza I launched flew away like it had ball bearings underneath it and made a huge mess. Didn't expect such a clean glide and gave it too much power. So, a bit of a learning curve to tweak (and a mess to clean up). Since then I've probably started 10 others with no problems. I still use a metal tray to remove it from the oven, so I can't comment on how that

Great bang for you buck!

I'm a new homemade pizza maker. The pizza peel came as described. I used fresh dough from the local grocery store. I rubbed the bowl with flour before and during use. No slipping problems on my new pizza stone. I put some pepperoni oil on top and dusted the spot with flour to soak up the grease. Lubrication hasn't been a problem. I took a star off the overall rating due to a phone call. Not big enough to send back or really affect performance. I just wish it wasn't so. I can buy a metal shovel…

Great scrub to dress up and run.

2+ YEARS UPDATE: Works as intended, no maintenance yet. Do not oil or grind. 6 MONTH UPDATE: I continue to use it 3 to 6 times a month. So far continues to work as intended with no maintenance. Do not oil or grind. After using the bowl, I wipe it with a dry cloth if there is no grease stain. In this case I will clean the stain. ______________FIRST REVIEW: After a few months and almost 100 pizzas I can say that I am satisfied with this bowl. Wooden pizza peels and their metal counterparts are…
