One of the worst tech I've ever bought

This thing is a paperweight that attaches to the top of my Airstream.1) It's primary function - a WiFi extender - is terrible. It keeps losing connection even if the RV park has very good wifi (we can easily connect our phones and computers to the RV park wifi). Does it actually extend the range? Pfff. Yes, whatever. It sucks. 2) From an LTE perspective, these are perhaps the most ridiculous and poorly designed antennas ever. Winegarde CLAIMS this device is supported by AT&T and Verizon, but it

I strongly advise against buying this product!

This product is terrible, it has an issue that Winegard is aware of but does not appear to be attempting to fix. And they don't tell anyone if you have a connection problem from your devices to your Winegard. Here's a little secret Winegard won't tell. You only need to select a device to connect to the 10.11.12.1 website. This is the back office of your Winegard, how you control which Wi-Fi to connect to Wi-Fi or 4G if you have this model. This one device cannot, I repeat. It cannot connect to…

I want my money back Vinegard!

Winegard You should be ashamed of this Winegard ConnecT2.0! I am a systems engineer and after purchasing your device I am fired for lack of internet connection. I've only had it for about 2 months and it keeps restarting. I can click a button to download the logs and your device's EID will completely disappear from my network. I called Winegard Technical Support and after a 47 minute wait they blamed my strength. I hooked up a power meter in series with the power supply and it reads a steady…

Better than expected

The installation went smoothly according to the installation guide with no problems. The hardest part was figuring out where to drill a hole in the roof to run the power cable. I found a spot in the closet to drill out of and then found power within a foot or two. I didn't have to use an extension cord, which also made installation easier. Setting up the router was also easy and only took a few minutes. I was only able to test the device in the field a few weeks after installation. On a trip to

Works great after fixing Verizon SIM issue

If you purchase Winegard ConnecT 2.0 and plan to install a Verizon SIM card, before initializing ConnecT, contact Winegard Technical Support to ensure your ConnecT is currently working with the Verizon -Software is compatible. I recommend contacting them via email. Read on for more details. After installation, I found that the WiFi extender works very well. It pulled out a lot of WiFi network signals, although most of them were blocked, but that's to be expected. The open networks found worked…

Overpriced, unreliable.

I bought this product a few months ago hoping for a reliable 4G internet connection. The first just stopped working. Winegards customer service was fantastic. They immediately sent a new one. I was amazed at the speed of their customer service. This device works. But the technology is terrible. The modem keeps "reinitializing", I have to do a factory reset several times a day. Also, it doesn't know how many connections it wants to provide. Initially I have a 70% 4g connection. Now I'm at 20%…
