The installation went smoothly according to the installation guide with no problems. The hardest part was figuring out where to drill a hole in the roof to run the power cable. I found a spot in the closet to drill out of and then found power within a foot or two. I didn't have to use an extension cord, which also made installation easier. Setting up the router was also easy and only took a few minutes. I was only able to test the device in the field a few weeks after installation. On a trip to the Smoky Mountains, we stopped at Wal-Mart in our van. When I checked for Wi-Fi signals on my phone, there was only one or two, NOT including Wal-Mart. When I turned on Winegard and started looking for Wi-Fi signals, there were over a dozen, including Wal-Mart Wi-Fi. Signal strength was over 50% and we had a stable connection throughout the evening and morning we were there. I was very happy with the device.
