My mother in law who has mobility issues carries an alarm button with her so my father in law will know she needs it. My father-in-law almost lost his hearing, but he can still hear it. Vibration also helps. Setting the melody was quite a hassle - it took trial and error to get it right. They should have included really clear instructions on how to set up the alert.

The pager worked as described and the performance was exactly what I was looking for, but it may not be for you. I wanted a pager that works when I go outside so my wife can call me if she needs it. Our house is brick and the pager signal won't get through it. Works well through the window, but she won't get to the window. I need a stronger signal. It won't work for my needs. Everything is fine inside, but I don't need it to work inside.

I was hoping to find a system that didn't use a watch-style mobile receiver and it was one of the few I found in Zone. Oh how disappointed I was! The range is much less than stated. Within our 50 foot home, the range is about 25 feet. I don't know if it's battery power or just transmitter power. Unless the two ends are essentially in the next room, I find it useless. The alarm is easy to see and is supported by vibration. The grooming device's small size makes it easy to attach to a belt, but difficult to detach. The cable on the transmitter allows you to hang it within reach. If I had to make changes I would raise the transmitter button a bit to make it easier to activate, but now it's easy enough to press. I would add a volume control to the sister unit but that's secondary as they chose a good volume level. I could also turn off the sound to just…
