Used in a professional environment. Stopped working after a few months. I had this gun and it lasted a few years. Maybe it was a lemon.

Took an ATF sample from the dipstick tube during a 2008 avalanche last week. It didn't take long and wasn't messy. Laboratory sample bottles are ideal. However, I have to go to Home Depot to get more whistles. The pump comes with a hose only.

Didn't work for me. I called production. I spoke to 4 different people and realized what idiots they are. I happily sent that shit back. Worst customer support I've ever experienced. One lady even said; You got it from Amazon, not from us. It's probably a fake. I'm telling you, idiots.

in the description that said "Includes inquiry form, hoses, pump and pipes". The Wix 24290 sealed box it came in contained a pump and hoses, nothing else. It would be nice if instructions were included stating the required tube size and container size. I've used it 3 times with no problems. I was in a hurry to buy, otherwise I would have looked around more.

I had to tighten the bronze fitting in the upper part, after that it worked as it should. I also check the engines on 28ft boats and megayachts and after the small adjustments mentioned above everything works fine. The tube that came with the kit could be longer, some of the dipstick tubes are longer and a bit thinner so I had to use a different size tube and o-ring in the tube joint and it still worked fine.
