WIX Filters 42188 Filter Pack Review

Wix filters are known for their very high quality and I'm glad they are readily available. Perfect fit for my 2004 Honda CRV.

Cheaper than the original. Helluva is much better than Fram, cleaner etc. The paper element actually has indentations to keep the creases from bunching up and leaving gaps in other areas.

Nothing to say. Felt and looked like a quality product. I installed it and my computer still works, so I think it's doing what it's supposed to do. Why 4 stars - because it's an air filter - nothing special about it.

I use and recommend Wix filters. This one was perfect for my 2003 Honda CR-V. It looks like there is a lot of filter material in there. The gaskets have been perfectly matched and pliable to ensure a good seal.

Over the years I have tried several different brands of air filters for my 2004 Honda CR-V. I used to think Fram Extra Guard was the best, but WIX changed my mind. In comparison, WIX has many more wrinkles, and each of them looks deeper. Seems like the Fram could be built better as it has metal mesh on both sides of the paper filter element unlike this WIX which like most other brands only has metal on the inside.
