📣 Wolo (110) The Persuader Single Trumpet Horn - 12V, Low Tone, Stainless Steel Review

Item fell out of the box when it arrived. The ends of the box were not sealed properly with tape. The hardware pouch has been left open to prevent the hardware from falling out of the pouch and then out of the box. There was no padding to protect the product. The wire is short, the ends appear worn and used. The horn sounds like a cheap car horn with a hose attached. There is a large dent on the body of the horn. It's not very loud. Return to the drawing board. I am asking for a refund.

This air horn is attractive and well built. Although it's a bit loud, it's somewhat muffled by the low-pitched tone. It appears to be the sound of a tugboat. In my particular application (boat) I have to remove and rotate the rear bracket to fit some of the holes already there, but that's not a problem. The front mount gives you some latitude in adjusting the height of the horn, which is functional but detracts from the overall build. I really have no idea how it could have been done…

This was exactly what I was looking for to replace the factory horn in my Ford pickup. They were very loud and gave a great sound. I was extremely disappointed when I had to insert my horn the other day and only heard a small trumpet sound, after professional diagnosis it was found that the major horn had shorted out after less than 6 months (approx. 4-5 inserts). I'm also disappointed that there doesn't seem to be a guarantee against defects, I was expecting them to last at least a year. $70…
