Wolverine Data Slide Trays Set Review

Essential accessories when you want to scan multiple slides. The Wolverine scanner comes with a single slide tray. The ability to load and scan four slides at once greatly reduces the time spent loading slides into trays! The only downside I've found is that you have to load the slides accurately otherwise it's a lot harder to slide them into the scanner. It's okay, but after a few times you start noticing.

I bought these to try and speed up the digitizing process for LOTS of slides. Once you download these bins, which are the most tedious part of digitizing aside from sorting and aligning the slides, they really speed up the process. I have 6 of these bowls. Good slide holder, but requires some modifications to the slide holder and Titan scanner. 1. The holder is difficult to open but fixable. There are 3 hook type latches that keep the holder closed. These hooks are too long and make it difficult to open the holder. The solution is to take a file and file 3 hooks. This fixes the problem. 2. The slide holder requires 4 slide position marks to help align the slide holder in the Titan to allow each of the 4 images to be centered. Markings can be…

Read all reviews before buying. I really wanted to get the best quality product. So far I have created over 200 slides. I have yet to "handle" them in iPhoto, but this works amazingly well. I would recommend buying additional (longer holds more) slide adapters, but the one that comes with it is useful too. Some slides are too thick, warped, anything that doesn't match the longer ones, but the included slide will work on any slide. Also, longer adapters that fit 4 slides at a time (I think they…
