Good slide holder, but requires some modifications to the slide holder and Titan scanner. 1. The holder is difficult to open but fixable. There are 3 hook type latches that keep the holder closed. These hooks are too long and make it difficult to open the holder. The solution is to take a file and file 3 hooks. This fixes the problem. 2. The slide holder requires 4 slide position marks to help align the slide holder in the Titan to allow each of the 4 images to be centered. Markings can be added, but this must be done by the manufacturer. 3. The holder does not slide smoothly over the titanium due to the plastic rib in the titanium which sticks out in the center of the holder and helps hold the slide holder in place. The titanium tab contacts the slide holder in the closed areas of the holder but not in the open areas of the slide windows where it does not make contact. This results in very uneven movement of the slide holder through the titanium. The solution is to move the plastic tab in the Titan to the side of the mount and not position it over the open sliding windows. Having the Titan tab offset all the time to the side where it connects to the slide holder solves the problem and allows the slide holder to slide smoothly through the Titan. Hopefully the manufacturer will make these improvements that users really appreciate to make the slide holder even better.
