Women'S Ilusion 2012 Satin Full Slip With Lace Trim Review

I was looking forward to receiving this slip. I thought the lace trim would be perfect for wearing under garments that might be just a little too revealing. The bodice of this slip is so small it does not cover my bra. If I tighten the straps, it seam shows. It is very poorly designed and constructed. To add insult to injury, Ilusion will require you to take this to the post office and they will charge you for your trouble. Revain needs to vet its vendors a little more closely.

I didn't really like the fabric because it is clingy and prone to static. So it kind of defeats one of the purposes of having a slip - to keep your skirt or dress from clinging to your legs. Also it is not a versatile length, hitting just below my knee (for reference I am 5'7" and ordered the medium.) The slip would therefore show with a knee-length dress, and it would really be too short for a maxi-dress. The only length of dress this would work with would be a midi-length or mid-calf length…

Very comfortable and soft and pretty, this slip’s straps are easily adjusted to accommodate dress length. The wider strap fits better on the shoulder and stays in place. All other slips I’ve worn the straps fall off the shoulder onto the upper arm so that I’m constantly pulling them up, very uncomfortable. Love this slip. Fits according to size.

I absolutely LOVE this slip! I am a size 5’ 3”, 36D, and I ordered the 36 slip. It it perfect! I love everything about it. It is so flattering and comfortable! I even sleep in it like a nightgown.

I should have known better - the slip I received did not look anything close to the advertised photo. I purposely ordered this bc of the thick straps - item I received has thin, spaghetti straps and the lace is completely different.Uugggh, just so annoyed and wondering if it’s even worth my time to return this. Will def just purchase future pcs of clothing directly from a reputable online store. Fooled again…

This is all nylon kind of material, fitting is good.but I think it would be better if we have cotton mixed with Thanks for attention.

The slip strap slide off the shoulders as they are placed in the wrong position. They need to be closer together. Other than that, the fit is fine.

Very pretty slip, but don't be shy about ordering a size or two larger. Because it is nylon tricot, I don't expect it to shrink or I would be returning this one to order a larger size.

I wanted the slip to use it under my dresses. It fits me perfect. I ordered the 34 (which is my bra size, 34 B) and it fits me beautifully. The lace detail is soft and nice and so is the fabric. Well made!

I really like the product it’s neutral in color. I like it it has adjustable strap so you can really make it shorter. If you need to very comfortable to wear I wear under all my dresses and I’m never concerned about the sheerness or seeing through a dress or skirt. The item arrived rapidly well packaged. I enjoy it very much.

I have had this slip for years in a size 38! I mean literally for maybe 19years or better. I gained weight over time and put it at the bottom of my drawer and having recently lost 55lbs I was throwing out my larger items and came across it again. Tried it on and it fit perfectly. I like this product. I followed the size chart but it is a little larger than expected and is longer than the picture. I'm 5'2 and the slip is like 2" under the knee.

I would really like this slip if it wasn’t so thin. I got this slip because I had a dress I love and can’t wear because it’s thin and you can see my under clothes. But I have the same problem with the slip. You can still see my under garments when I wear this slip under my clothes. If the slip is nearly transparent What’s the point?Getting a decent slip should not be this hard.
