I liked what I ordered. It was exactly what I was looking for at the right price. It was the lamp that matched my Viewsonic projector.

Only buy this if you want to work harder! It is much easier to buy the entire lighting component/fitting for the bulb. If you only get one bulb, you'll have to fiddle with wiring and a body part.

Light bulb stopped working after less than 4 months. It says the warranty is 180 days but when I try to click the support button it tells me that support ended on July 24th. It's only 60 days. Maybe someone will read this and get in touch with me.

Has worked great for approximately 7 months using an average of 3 hours a day. Then it just went black in the middle of a Game of Thrones episode. Pooh. The math comes out to about 7 cents per hour of use over the life of my lightbulb. It's actually not that bad. My original OEM lamp lasted three years with roughly the same average daily usage. At least this lamp didn't explode as badly when it died as the original OEM lamp. 😊

I have been using a projector instead of a television for many years. The pleasure works as the bulbs last 18 months at a lower level compared to the one we had which lasted 4 years in a row. A real fighter, this one. The bulb burned out after 3 months. I'm not sure why this happened, but this is by far the shortest lifespan of any projector lamp I've purchased (which worked when it arrived). Order a replacement from another seller now but think of yourself. forewarned this could happen to you.
